This <br />permit has been requested by Zio.n Hill Baptist Church. The Church, which is lo.cated at <br />430 North 6th Street, intends to. demolish its existing sanctuary building and replace it with <br />a new structure. The pro.perty an which the church is located is zoned R-l, Low Density <br />Residential. <br /> <br />Zo.ning Ordinance Sectio.n 5-600 designates religio.us institutio.ns as Co.nditio.nal Uses in R-1 <br />Zanes. The church has r~quested this permit to. allaw canstructian of the new sanctuary <br />I building. <br /> <br />The Cammissian, by unanimous vate af members present, has recommended City Cauncil <br />approval af Special Co.nditianal Use Permit #SCU93-002. As required parking far the <br />church is to. be provided at the De Walt Alternative Schaal which is lacated at 601 W. <br />Madisan, the Cammissian reco.mmends attaching the fallawing canditian to. this permit. <br /> <br />No. permit far canstructian of the proposed sanctuary building shall be issued <br />prior to. submittal af a joint parking agreement as specified by Special <br />Exceptian SE92-006, granted by the Zaning Baard af Adjustment an February <br />25, 1993. <br />
