P. <br />Pfeiffer; Commissioners W. A. tabs, Jr., Frank <br />G. Baker, and Russell Shepherd. <br />MEMBERS OF THE CITY COMMISSION ABSENT: Commissioner <br />Tom W. Osburn. <br />OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: Special Legal Counsel <br />Knox Askins, City Engineer H. Carlos Smith <br />Water Superintendent Cunningham Chief <br />of Police H. F. Freeman, Jr.~ and Temporary <br />City Clerk Marilyn Kelley. <br />PRESIDING: Mayor Pfeiffer. <br />+ + + <br />1. Minutes of the regular meeting of March 1, 1965, <br />were read and approved with the following amend- <br />ment: <br />Item No. 7 - amended to read " La Porte State <br />Bank requested that the City relocate Waterwell <br />No. 3, surface tank and booster pump". <br />Minutes of a special meeting of March 11, 1965, <br />were read and approved with the following amend- <br />ments: <br />Item No. 2 - amended to read "Scott T. Calloway" <br />instead of "Scott T. Carpenter". <br />Item No. 3 - amended to read "one month's retainer <br />eel, _ <br />Item No. 5 - amended to read " to approve payment <br />0 29.00 to C. W. Seger, for carpenter work at <br />the Child Day Care Center". <br />+ + + <br />2. Mr. Leo Gaber, 333 South Bayshore Drives appeared <br />before the Commission to protest the size of his <br />water bills. He requested that the City replace <br />his water meter. The Mayor promised Mr. Gaber <br />the cooporation of the City. <br />a~ + + <br />
