<br />MINUTES - REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LA PORTS CITY COMM/SS/ON, LA FORTE, TEXAS <br />November 98, 9968 <br />7:00 P. M. <br />MEMBERS OF THE CQMMISSION PRESENT: Mayor H. P. Pfeiffer, Commissioners <br />Gould Crofoot, Lois J. Compton, Charles Boyle, and Bobby Burgin. <br />MEMBERS OF THE COMM/SS/ON ABSENT: None <br />OTHER CITY OFF/C/ALS PRESENT: City Administrator P. V. Werner, Ctty <br />Clerk Marilyn Kelley, Chief of Police H. F. Freeman, Supertnten- <br />dent of Water and Sewer Lyman Cunningham, and Street Superinten- <br />dent of Streets Clifford Ellis. <br />PRESIDING: Mayor Pfeiffer. <br />+ + + <br />9. The minutes of the regular meeting of November 4, 1968 were <br />approved as written. <br />+ + + <br />2. Eugene Hovey, C.P.A., presented the 1967-68 Audit Report. <br />Mayor Pfeiffer accepted the report and advised Mr. Hovey <br />that the Commission may have questions after they have <br />an opportunity to study it. <br />+ + + <br />3. The Commission held a lenghtly discussion on the collection <br />of ambulance fees. <br />Commissioner Crofoot made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Compton, and carried, that the following collection policy be <br />followed: <br />Statements will be mailed on each account at the <br />beginning of each month. <br />Delinquent accounts will be filed with the Credit <br />Bureau, on a per unit basis. <br />Delinquent accounts will be filed in Justic Court <br />twice a year or sooner if the number warrants. <br />+ + + <br />68-104 <br />
