Call to order. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Chairman Don Hill at 6:10 p.m. <br /> <br />2. Roll call of members. <br /> <br />Herman Berges - president of La Porte Cemetery Association <br />Joe Lopez - resident since 1974, has worked at Johnson Space Center for 26 years <br />Susan Robinson - resident for 14 years, briefly worked with the Census Bureau <br />Charlie Perry - resident since 1971, retired from San Jacinto College, President of Community Civic Club <br />Jeanne Zemanek - actively involved in community <br />Betty Moore - lifetime resident, recently retired from Harris Co. Dept. of Education Head Start Program <br />Vickie Campise - resident since 1992, antique business owner <br />Paula Swearingen - 20 year resident, works at Neighborhood Center, sons entering SMU and Baylor Graduate <br />Don Hill- resident since 1981, involved with community churches <br />Sherry Lowe - not present for roll call (arrived at 6:45 p.m.); resident for 22 years <br /> <br />3. Introduction of new committee members. <br /> <br />New members Joe Lopez and Betty Moore were welcomed during roll call. <br /> <br />At the request of Chairman Hill, and for the benefit of new members, Mr. Guerrabe spoke briefly about the <br />purpose of the Complete Count Committee. <br /> <br />4. Consider approval of August 4, 2009, meeting minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Herman Berges to approve the August 4, 2009, meeting minutes. Second by Charlie Perry. The <br />minutes were approved as presented with all in favor. <br />
