<br />MINUTES <br /> <br />OF THE <br /> <br />LA PORTE ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />MAY 27, 1982 <br /> <br />1. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Sidney Grant <br />at 7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Members of the Board Present: Sidney Grant, John Albanese, <br />Linda Mains, Bill Thompson <br /> <br />Others Present: Bonnie Sokol, 310 Shoreacres Blvd. <br /> <br />2. The minutes of the February 25, 1982, meeting were approved <br />as presented. <br /> <br />3. The Board considered a request for variance to the zoning <br />ordinance requirement for a 25-foot building line for the <br />front yard building line by Mrs. Bonnie Sokol at the corner <br />of Roscoe and Lobit. There was lengthy discussion, but <br />several questions needed to be answered by someone on the <br />City Staff. Chairman Grant appointed John Albanese to seek <br />the answers to these questions. <br /> <br />]uestion: Is Roscoe a dedicated street at this point? <br />Why is this citizen denied a permit to build on <br />Roscoe? <br />Does the City have any plans to improve Roscoe? <br /> <br />The Board agreed to meet Saturday morning at 10:00 A.M. to <br />make a final decision. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mains to recess the meeting until 10:00 <br />A.M. Saturday, May 29, 1982. Second by Albanese. The motion <br />carried and the meeting stood recessed. <br /> <br />Saturday, May 29, 1982 - 10:00 A.M. <br /> <br />The La Porte Zoning Board of Adjustment reconvened at 10:00 A.M. <br /> <br />Members Present: Sidney Grant, John Albanese, Linda Mains, <br />Bill Thompson <br /> <br />Others Present: Bonnie Sokol <br /> <br />- <br />
