Pfeiffer, <br />Mayor; Tom Osburn, Water and Sewer Commissioner; Dennis C. <br />Dunham, Health and Recreation Commissioner; Odell L. Brown, <br />Street Commissioner; Commissioners-Elect Russell Shepherd <br />and Frank G. Baker. <br /> <br />MEMBERS OF COMMISSION ABSENT: W. A. Stabs, Jr., <br />Police and Fire Commtssioner. <br /> <br />OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: Clovis D. Mann, <br />City Clerk; Carlos Smith, City Engineer; C. L. Pitman, <br />City Attorney. <br /> <br />PRESID/NG: Harold P. Pfeiffer, Mayor. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Reverend Pink A. Voss, <br />Minister of the First Baptist Church of La Porte. <br /> <br />9. Minutes of the two previous meettngs of April <br />99 and April 25, 9963, were read. Commtssioner Brown made <br />a motion, seconded by Commissioner Osburn, that the Minutes <br />of the Special Meeting of April 25th, Section 2, be amended <br />to show "Position No. 3" instead of"Posttion No. 2". The <br />Minutes were then approved as amended. <br />* . « <br />2. Commissioner Dunham made a motion, seconded COMMISSIONERS-ELECT <br />by Commissioner Brown, that the Commissioners-Elect, Mr. ANNOUNCED OFFICIALL' <br />Frank G. Baker and Mr. Russell Shepherd, be considered as i~UAL/PIED <br />qualified for the office to which elected. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
