Thomas, <br />Commissioners C. D. Christensen, I. J. Kibodeaux, <br />A. Uel Price and C. D. Boyle. <br />MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION ABSENT: None. <br />OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: Larry L. Broussard,Director <br />of Finance, Virginia Cline, City Clerk, Knox Askins, City <br />Attorney and H. F. Freeman, Chief of Police. <br />• <br />PRESIDING: Mayor Thomas. <br />+ + + <br />1. The Ctiy Commission hereby finds, determines, <br />and declares that the subject matter of this <br />meeting constitutes an emergency or urgent <br />public necessity, and that notice of this <br />meeting was posted by the City Clerk of the <br />City of La Porte, before this meeting was <br />convened or called to order. <br />+ + + <br />2. Mayor Thomas stated the special meeting was <br />called to allocate additional funds for the <br />addition to the police building to house <br />radio equipment. He stated the four bids <br />received were higher than the budgeted amount <br />
