The invocation was given by City Attorney Askins 3. Council considered the Regular Meeting of the 1983. Motion was made approve the minutes as Skelton. Mayor Cline presented a proclamation to Mrs. Betty Chappee designating "Special Olympics Day." 5. Mayor Cline presented the Employee of the Month award for March to City Employee Nell Lange. 6. City Attorney Askins read: ORDINANCE No. 1361.- AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING A MEMBER'OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO SERVE AS MAYOR PRO- . TEM OF THE CITY OF LA PORTS FOR THE TERM MAY 1, 1983, UNTIL APRIL 30, 1984; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
