Chairman <br />JAY MARTIN <br />Vice-chairman <br />CHUCK ENGELKEN <br />Member <br />MINUTES OF DRAINAGE AND FLOODING COMMITTEE <br />MEETING HELD JUNE 11, 2018 <br />DANNY EARP <br />Member <br />Alternate Member <br />The Drainage and Flooding Committee of the City of La Porte met on Monday, June 11, 2018, at the City <br />Hall Council Chambers, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas, at 5:00 p.m. to consider the <br />following items of business: <br />Call to Order <br />Vice -Chairman Jay Martin called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. The following members of the <br />Drainage and Flooding Committee were present: Committee Members Chuck Engelken and Danny <br />Earp, Staff Present: Corby Alexander, Don Pennell, Lorenzo Wingate and Patrice Fogarty. <br />2. Authorizations <br />(a) Consider approval or other action regarding minutes of the Drainage and Flooding Committee <br />Meeting held on June 29, 2015 — S. Harris <br />Committee Member Engelken moved to approve the minutes of the Drainage and Flooding <br />Committee Meeting held on June 29,, 2015, as presented. Committee Member Earp seconded. <br />MOTION PASSED 3/0. <br />(b) Consider approval or other action appointing a Chairman and/or Vice -Chairman of the Drainage <br />and Flooding Committee — S. Harris <br />Committee Member Engelken moved to nominate Jay Martin as Chairman and Danny Earp, as <br />Vice -Chairman of the Drainage and Flooding Committee. Committee Member Earp seconded. <br />MOTION PASSED 3/0. <br />3. Staff Reports <br />(a) S. Shady Ln., Outfall Rehabilitation — L. Wingate/D. Pennell <br />City Engineer Lorenzo Wingate provided an update on S. Shady Ln., Outfall Rehabilitation. <br />There were no questions from the Committee. <br />(b) Bayside Terrace Drainage Improvements — L. Wingate/D. Pennell <br />City Engineer Lorenzo Wingate provided an update on Bayside Terrace Drainage Improvements. <br />There were no questions from the Committee. <br />(c) Pine Bluff Subdivision Improvements — L. Wingate/D.
