The meeting was called to order by Mayor Malone at 6:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Members of ci tv Council Present: Mayor Norman Malone, <br />Councilpersons Betty Waters, Mike Cooper, Bob McLaughlin, <br />Alton Porter, Deotis Gay, B. The invocation was given by Councilperson Skelton. <br /> <br />3. Council considered approving the minutes of the regular <br />meeting of Council held October 23, 1989. <br /> <br />Motion was made bv Counciloerson Cooper to ao~rove the October <br />23 minutes as oresented. Second by Councilperson McLaughlin. <br />The motion carried, 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Councilpersons Waters, Cooper, McLaughlin, Porter, <br />Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />None <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />4. The Mayor proclaimed the week of November 26 through December <br />2 as La Porte Home Care Week, and proclaimed support of the <br />efforts of the La Porte ISD and La Porte Counseling Center <br />regarding forums on Parent-Teen Relationships. <br /> <br />5. The following citizens addressed Council. <br /> <br />Chester Pool, 1710 Alvy - Reopen issue of Elizabeth Street <br />access for school children <br />
