Pfeiffer, <br />Comamissioners Tom Osburn, Frank G. Baker, Russell Shepherd, <br />and W. A. Stabs, Jr. <br /> <br />MEMBERS OF COMM/SS/ON ABSENT: None <br />* * ~ <br />OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: C, L. Pitman, City <br />Attorney; Clovis D. Mann, City Clerk; H. Carlos Smith, City <br />Engineer; H. F. Freeman, PoCice Chief; George H, Counts, <br />Judge; Lyman Cunntngham, Water Superintendent. <br /> <br />PRESIDING: Mayor N. P. Pfeiffer. <br /> <br />1. Minutes of Regular Meeting of January 20, 1964 <br />were read and approved. <br /> <br />2. Motion was made by Commissioner Osburn, seconded <br />by Commissioner Stabs, that the action taken at the January 20, <br />1964 meeting, granttng a Special Permit to Mrs. Cliff Tratner <br />to locate a "Nursery-Private School" at 402 South 6th Street, <br />La Porte, be rescinded, and further, that the action of the <br />Mayor in calling a Public Hearing for February 14, 1964, to <br />consider granting of a Special Permit, be confirmed. Motion <br />carried. (Action rescinded Cisted in Section 4, Minutes of <br />January 20, 1964.) <br />~ ~ <br />3. Mr. W. T. Carter of the Shady River Developments, <br />presented final pCans for development of Section 2, Shady River <br />Sub-Diviston, for approval. Commissioner Baker made a motion, <br />seconded by Commissioner Stabs, that the Mayor and City Clerk <br />be authorized to sign the plans after the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission has approved them. Motion carried. <br /> <br />
