Pfeiffer, COMMISSIONERS <br />Commissioners Frank G. Baker, W. A. Stabs, Jr., Tom W. Osbur PRESENT <br />and Russell Shepherd. <br />MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION ABSENT: None. COMMISSIONERS <br />ABSENT <br />OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: City Attorney C. L. Pitman, <br />City Clerk Clovis D. Mann, City Engineer H. Carlos Smith, OTHER OFFICIALS <br />Water Superintendent Lyman Cunningham, and Chief of PRESENT <br />Police Herbert Freeman. <br />PRESIDING: Mayor H. P. Pfeiffer. PRESIDING <br />+ + + <br />1. Minutes of the Regular meeting of December 21, 1g6~-, were <br />read and approved with the following amendment: Amend MINUTES <br />3rd paragraph of Item No. 2 to read as follows: APPROVED <br />• "Commissioner Osburn made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Shepherd, that the City Attorney advise the present alleged <br />owners of the land to submit sufficient and adequate proof <br />that they own the land in question, and that there is no <br />dedicated street as claimed; and that the evidence be sub- <br />mitted by January 18, 1865. Motion carried." <br />Minutes of the Special Meeting of December 28, 1g6~+, were <br />read and approved. <br />2. Mrs. Cliff Trainer appeared before the Commission request- <br />ing permission to continue her kindergarten school at <br />x+02 S. nth Street until the end of the present school <br />term, on or about May 2g, 1g65. Mrs Trainer stated that <br />she had discontinued her Day Care activities at this <br />address. <br />Commissioner Shepherd made a motion, seconded by <br />Commissioner Osburn, that Mrs. Trainer be permitted to <br />continue her kindergarten school at x+02 S. 6th Street <br />until the end of the school term, on or about May 2g, 1965. <br />Motion carried. <br />3. In reference to the Public Hearing held on December 28, VOTING ON <br />1g6~+, in regards to re-zoning of bay front property be- PUBLIC HEARING <br />tween Sylvan Beach Park and Happy Harbor, from Class "A" OF RE-ZONING <br />Single Family Dwelling District" to "Class "E" Apartment R <br />Buildings, Duplexes, and~or any other Multiple Dwelling BETWEEN SYLVAN <br />District", Commissioner Baker made a motion, seconded by BEACH AND HAPPY <br />Commissioner Shepherd, that the Commission vote on the HARBOR. <br />question, and that each Commissioner be polled. Motion <br />carried. <br />
