The minutes of the regular meeting of April 95, 9965, and the <br />special meeting of April 24, 9968, were approved as written. <br />+ + + <br />2. Judge George Counts administered the Oath of Office to Mayor- <br />Elect H. P. Pfeiffer, and Commissioners- Elect Charles D. Boyle, <br />and N. Gould Crofoot. <br />Mayor Pfeiffer presented to W, A. Stabs, Jr. a Certificate of <br />Appreciation for the eight years of service he has given as <br />a Commissioner. <br />+ + + <br />3. Mr. Leo Gaber, 333 South Bayshore Drive, inquired about the <br />condition of his driveway, a water leak in the alley beside <br />hfs home, and the dttch on Bayshore Drive. <br />The City Engineer was requested to check into the items mentioned. <br />+ + + <br />4. A tabulation of bids for the parking area, driveways, and <br />sidewalks at the Library and Civic Center, were received. <br />(See Exhibit No. 9). <br />Commissioner Compton made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Crofoot, that Division 9 be awarded to the low bidder, Les West <br />Co., lr~c., and that Division 99 be awarded after the 9968-69 <br />budget has been adopted.
