INVOCATION — The invocation was given by Rev. Dee Spears, Fairmont Park Church, and pledges <br />were, led by Counc:ilperson Bill Bentley. <br />4. CITIZEN COMMENT (Generally limited to five minutes per person; in accordance will,? state law, the <br />time may be reduced if there is a high nVt17ber of speakers or other considerations.) <br />Phillip Hoot expressed his appreciation of the flag disposal box by City Hall and on the importance of <br />rooftops and increased household income to develop downtown and increase local retail. Terry <br />Matthews spoke on her issue with her neighbor, saying she felt it had not been addressed and <br />confirming it had not been resolved, and asked the Council for action, <br />5. CONSENT AGENDA (Approval of Consent Agenda items authorizes each to be implernented in <br />accordance with staff recommendations provided. At'? item inay be removed from the consent agenda <br />and added to the Statutory Agenda for full discussion upon request by a member of the Council present <br />at this meeting.) <br />a. Approve Resolution 2021-62 to join as a party with the State of Texas and participating <br />political subdivisions in the Texas Oploid Settlement Agreement secured by the Texas <br />Attorney General and authorizing the, City Manager to execute all related documents. Authorize staff to accept quote from Athletic Field Specialists for the reconstruction of all <br />ten (10) fields at Pecan Park, in the amount of $64,0010,00, utilizing BuylBoard Contract #641 - <br />21.
