<br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />· Review capabilities of existing communications facilities, including: <br /> <br />Adequacy of. existing facilities, and their ability to support future <br />communications requirements <br /> <br />Age and suitability of existing communication facilities, available space for <br />, new equipment, and any construction necessary to develop these facilities <br /> <br />~ Task 3 - Interview Personnel <br /> <br />· Interview City of La Porte personnel to determine the specific operational needs <br />for new system's, both currently and projected through at least the next five years. <br />For purposes of this proposal, five group intervjews have been included. <br />Additional interviews can be added, if deemed necessary by the city. <br /> <br />Typically, an interview session requires about one half of a day of professional <br />time (two hours interview time, two hours documentation). The anticipated <br />individuals/groups to be interviewed include: <br /> <br />> City Manager & Assistant City Manager <br />> Police Department <br />> Fire/EMS Department <br />> Public Works Department <br />> City IT Department <br /> <br />The interview sessions for radio user departments are generally preceded by a <br />questionnaire, which will be reviewed during the interview. <br /> <br />.. Prepare typed interview summaries to be returned to each person or group <br />interviewed for review and approval. This helps ensure that our engineers clearly <br />understood the messages conveyed during the interviews and provides <br />interviewees an opportunity to make changes or additions if needed. <br /> <br />.:.
