3.0 SITE DESCRIPTION 3.1 LOCATION AND LEGAL DESCRIPTION The subject property is located at Broadway & East A St., La Porte, TX 77571. Geo-Tech was not provided with a legal description of the property. However, the County Appraisal District did provide a description for the subject property (See Property Information in the Appendix Section) as follows: ••LTS 1 THRU 9 BLK 199 LA PORTE "LTS 10 1112 13 & TR 9 BLK 198 LA PORTE 3.2 SITE AND VICINITY GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS The property is located in La Porte in an area where the main streets are populated with apartment complexes, retail and commercial properties. Single family homes dominate the side street areas. The nearest water body is Little Cedar Bayou located more than a mile to the southwest to the of the subject property. The subject property shows no evidence of waste disposal, spillage, surficial staining, or distressed vegetation. No evidence of leaking transformers, sumps, pits, ponds, lagoons, catch basins, water or dry wells, monitoring wells, petroleum pipeline easements, underground or aboveground storage tanks, petroleum products, hazardous wastes or other environmental conditions was observed. 3.3 CURRENT AND PAST USE OF PROPERTY The subject property (two parcels) is located at 117 San Jacinto Avenue and the 100 block(odd number/East side)Broadway, La Porte, Texas 77571. Tract one contains an unoccupied building. Tract two is currently an empty lot. Tract one historically has been a meat mark, upholstery, and food center. Historically tract two was used as a Gasoline Station. At least three tanks were identified on the property. One tank has a label that shows the tank size as 4,000 gallons. Two of tanks were filled and the third approximately hall filled with a liquid which appears to be mostly water. If all three tanks are 4,000 gallons then there is approximately 10,000 gallons of liquid in the tanks. 3A DESCRIPTIONS OF STRUCTURES, ROADS, AND OTHER IMPROVEMENTS ONSITE The subject property (two parcels) is located at 117 San Jacinto Avenue and the 100 block(odd number/East side)Broadway, La Porte, Texas 77571.
