Mr. Scarcella, manager of operations for <br />Ted True Supply, addressed the Commission <br />to request permission to place a mobile <br />home at the business at 1911 W. Main. <br />He stated the mobile home would be used <br />as a residence for a night watchman. <br />Mayor Thomas stated the trailer, which was <br />already on the premises, was in violation <br />of the zoning ordinance. <br />Mr. Askins stated trailers were permitted <br />in industrial zones, but he would have to <br />review the Toning ordinance to determine <br />if it was permissible for a trailer to be <br />placed at this particular location. <br />Motion by Comm. Kibodeaux, seconded by Comm. Sampson <br />that Mr. Scarcell's request be postponed for <br />additional study at the work shop session. <br />Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Sampson and Boyle. <br />• NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />6. Mr. Fred Westergren addressed the Commission <br />in regards to the Jack B. Kelly Company <br />locating in La Porte. He presented photographs <br />and plans for the truck terminal to be located <br />on Blocks 333 and 334 and stated he felt the <br />company would be an asset to the city. <br />The Commission thanked Mr. Westergren for his <br />presentation and stated they would give the <br />project every consideration. <br />+ + + <br />7. Motion by Comm. Kibodeaux, seconded by Comm. <br />Christensen to approve partial payment in <br />the amount of X11,817.00 to Hollico corp., <br />for contractual services on the water and <br />• sewer line extensions in Fairmont Park. <br />
