CONSIDER DECISION OF HEARINGS FOR DEMOLITION OR REPAIR OF <br />DANGEROUS BUILDINGS - (CONTINUED) <br />Motion by Commissioner Tomerlin, seconded by Commissioner <br />Simons to continue with the demolition of .the buildings <br />located at 412 West Main, 110 North 3rd, 312 North 6th, <br />215 North 6th, 423 North 5th, 520 West Tyler and 518 West <br />Tyler. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin and Simons, and Mayor Meza. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />5. CONSIDER AWARDING BID - POLICE BUILDING ROOF - There was <br />a brief discussion regarding the fact that 15,000.00 had <br />been budgeted for the roof of the Police Building. <br />Motion by Commissioner Simons, seconded by Commissioner <br />Tomerlin to award the bid for the Police Building Roof <br />• to Rudy's Roofing Company in the sum of $10,740.00, as <br />recommended by the Chief of Police. A copy of the recom- <br />mendation it attached and made a part of these minutes. <br />Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin and Simons, and Mayor Meza. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />3 <br />6. CONSIDER AWARDING BID - REMODELING THE UPSTAIRS OF THE BUILDING <br />LOCATED AT 911 S. EIGHTH (NUTRITION CENTER) - Motion by Commissioner <br />Tomerlin, seconded by Commissioner Simons to table this item until <br />the Attorney could make a recommendation.
