There was no Council action at this time. <br />19. The Council adjourned into Executive Session at 8:50 P.M. <br />The Council returned to the Council table at 9:20 P.M. <br />Motion was made by Councilman Simons authorizing the Mayor to <br />sign a service contract with the firm of Hugh L. Landrum and <br />Associates, Inc., for 1981, 1982 and 1983. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Tomerlin. The motion carried 4 ayes <br />and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilmen Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, Simons <br />Nays: None <br />There being no further business to be brought before the <br />Council, the meeting was duly adjourned at 9:30 P.M. <br />Re ectfully ubmitted: <br />tty T. Motion was made by Councilman Simons <br />to pass and approve the minutes as corrected of the October <br />15, 1980, regular meeting of the La Porte City Council. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Kibodeaux. The motion <br />carried 3 ayes, 0 nays and 2 abstain. <br />Ayes: Councilmen Kibodeaux, Simons, r~Iayor Meza <br />Nays: None <br />Abstain: Councilman Tomerlin, Councilwoman Cline. <br />Cline and Tomerlin stated they would abstain from voting <br />because they were not present for the meeting. <br />.7 <br />
