<br /> 6. Mayor Meza stated the City has received authorization from the
<br /> Environmental Protection Agency to award bids on E.P.A. Step
<br /> III Construction Grant, Contracts I, II, III and IV, Project
<br /> No. C-481176-03-0.
<br /> Motion was made by Councilman Kibodeaux to award the Contract
<br /> I for the Sanitary Sewer Plant to Brown Couch, Inc. , of
<br /> Richmond, Texas, for $2,994,000.00. Seconded by Councilwoman
<br /> Cline. The motion carried, 4 ayes and 0 nays.
<br /> Ayes: Councilman Tomerlin, Councilman Kibodeaux, Councilwoman
<br /> Cline, Councilman Simons
<br /> Nays: None
<br /> Motion was made by Councilman Tomerlin to award Contract II
<br /> for Gravity Sewer Mains to E. P. Brady, Inc. , of Euless,
<br /> Texas, bid amount of $1,020,109.50. The motion was seconded
<br /> by Councilwoman Cline. The motion carried, 4 ayes and 0 nays.

<br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Cline to award Contract III
<br /> for Lift Station Facilities to Big M Constructors, Inc. , of

<br />. seconded by Councilman Tomerlin. The motion carried, 4 ayes
<br /> and 0 nays.

<br /> Motion was made by Councilman Simons to award Contract IV, for
<br /> Rehabilitation of Sewer Collection System, to Tinker Industries,
<br /> Houston, Texas, bid amount of $1,033,539.90. Motion was sec-
<br /> onded by Councilman Tomerlin. The motion carried, 4 ayes and
<br /> o nays.

<br /> 7. Council considered the recommendations by Public Works Director
<br /> Hodge on the 15 foot winged mower, stating Hyco Equipment Comp-
<br /> any has submitted the low bid in the amount of $7,190.00 and
<br /> meets the specifications set by the City.
<br /> Motion was made by Councilman Kibodeaux to accept and award
<br /> the bid for the 15 foot winged mower to Hyco Equipment Co.
<br /> Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Cline. The motion carried,
<br /> 4 ayes and 0 nays.
