The City Attorney read: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY SECRETARY OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE TO DESTROY CERTAIN REDEEMED BONDS AND REDEEMED BOND INTEREST COUPONS; REQUIRING THE CITY SECRETARY TO FILE A LIST OF THE REDEEMED BONDS AND REDEEMED COUPONS SO DESTROYED; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE IiEREOF A_ motion was made by Councilperson Graves to approve and adopt Ordinance No. 1326 as read by the City Attorney. Council considered the recommendation from Assistant Director of Public- Works Gillett concerning bids received for an "Engine Analyzer" for the garage. Bids were received from 5 vendors as follows: Mitchell Tool Warehouse - $7,196.00 Automotive Equipment Brokers 5,615.90 Sun Electric 7,020.00 Sun Electric 3,996.00 Vasco Equipment Warehouse, Inc. 5,527.00 Autoscan Equipment Co., Inc. 5,677.95 A motion was made by Councilperson Gay to award the bid to Sun Electric in the amount of $3,996.00 for Sun Model 1015 Engine Analyzer.
