Mayor Cline read the recommendations: <br />Walter Gernand - representative from HL&P <br />Knox Askins - Legal representative <br />David Paulissen - Code Enforcement <br />Lindsay Pfeiffer - Elected representative <br />Gene Pfeiffer - Master electrician <br />C. E. Brown - Master electrician <br />A motion was made by Councilperson Westergren to approve the <br />appointments presented by Mayor Cline for the La Porte Elec- <br />trical Board. Second by Councilperson Skelton. The motion <br />carriedr 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Westergren, Skelton, Gay, Pfeiffer, <br />Graves, Matuszak, Longley, Malone and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />8. Mr. Bill Fleener appeared before Council to make a presenta- <br />• tion for sanitary sewer service from the Fairmont Park sewer <br />plant to property he proposes to develop east of College View <br />Municipal Utility District. After some discussion Mayor <br />Cline asked Council approval to refer Fleener's proposal to <br />a workshop meeting. The City Secretary was directed to place <br />this item on an emergency adendum for the July 26 workshop. <br />9. The City Attorney read: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, <br />TEXAS, RATIFYING AND AUTHORIZING ITS PARTICIPATION IN THE <br />COALITION OF CITIES WITH ORIGINAL JURISDICTION TO INCLUDE DATA <br />SHARING AND INTERVENTION WITH SAID COALITION IN THE HL&P RATE <br />REQUEST. <br />A_motion was made by <br />Resolution No. 82-12 <br />Councilperson Graves. <br />Councilp <br />as read <br />The mo <br />erson Skelton to pass and approve <br />by the City Attorney.
