Council considered Staff recommendation concerning bids received on a street sweeper. A motion was made by Council- person Graves that the City purchase a four wheel, self- propelled mechanical street sweeper from Davis Truck and Equipment for the bid amount of ~64,832.00. A motion was made by Councilperson Malone to award the bid for the lOOO feet of, four-inch fire hose to Claude Wright and Associates in the amount of $5,780.00. Second by Councilperson Westergren. Council consdiered the recommendation of Building Official paulissen concerning awarding a mowing contract. A motion was made b:v Councilperson Graves to award a one- year mowing contract to Sentell Lawn Maintenance. Second by Councilperson Malone. The motion carried,9 ayes and 0 nays.
