Council considered an emergency addendum, the protest of <br />Jesse Lovelace Construction, Inc., to the sanitary sewer <br />rehabilitation project. The emergency. exists in that the <br />protest must be determined by the City and EPA prior to <br />January 31, 1983, and that the City. must thus make its <br />determination on January 5 in order.to meet the deadline. <br />A motion was made <br />o accept and <br />orney. Council considered item 2 on the Emergency Addendum: AN <br />ORDINANCE APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE'UNEXPIRED TERM OF <br />ANDY WILSON ON THE CITY OF LA PORTS PLANNING. AND ZONING <br />COMMISSION; CONTAINING A REPEALING CLAUSE; FINDING COMPLI-- <br />ANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE HEREOF. <br />This item placed on the emergency addendum at the request of <br />three Councilpersons - Councilperson B. Don Skelton, Council- <br />person Linda Westergren, Councilperson John Longley. <br />Motion was made declaring this item-not an emergency by <br />Counci3person Matuszak.
