• Minutes, Regular Meeting, La Porte City Council <br />March 16, 1983, Page 3 <br />A motion was made by Councilperson Matuszak to approve and <br />adopt the service plan and policy for future connections to <br />the sanitary sewer trunk main along Fairmont Par way to <br />prevent indiscriminate tapping o the trunk main for single <br />sewer service, according to the plan submitted y Graduate <br />Engineer John Joerns. Second by Councilperson Skelton. <br />The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Malone, Longley, Matuszak, Graves, <br />Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, Westergren and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />10. Council considered filling a vacancy on the Industrial <br />Development Corporation Board of Directors created by the <br />resignation of Diana Deering. <br />A motion was made by Councilperson Malone to appoint Jack <br />Lawler to the La Porte Industrial Deye Dpment Cor oration <br />Board of Directors to fill the position vacatedDiana <br />Deering. Second by Councilperson Graves. Carlos H. Smith, P.E., submitted for Council review bid tabu- <br />lations for street paving and drainage improvements, Job <br />No. 1565-82. (The bid tabulation is a part of the official <br />minutes.) <br />A motion was made by Councilperson Malone to award the bid for <br />street paving and related drainage improvements to McKe <br />Construction and Equipment, Inc., in the amount of $405,610.73 <br />the Alternate 3 bid. (San Jacinto Dr., Bois 'Arc, Santa <br />Anna Lane, E. Fieldcrest, Lomax Dr., Shirley Lane, West Sunset <br />Ridge, East end of North L Street.) The motion was seconded <br />by Councilperson Skelton.
