Second by <br />Councilperson Sutherland. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 <br />nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Matuszak, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor <br />Malone <br />Nays: None <br />9. Council considered ordinance authorizing acceptance of <br />donation from Fairmont Park Homes Association, Inc., of <br />swimming pool and 1.284 acres of land. <br />The City Attorney read: ORDINANCE NO. 1750 - ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION FROM FAIRMONT PARK HOMES <br />ASSOCIATION, INC., OF SWIMMING POOL AND 1.284 ACRES OF LAND. <br />1750 as read by the City Attorney and to appropriate 550,000 <br />from the General Fund Contingency Account for unbudgeted <br />start-up cost. Second by Councilperson Clarke. <br />The original motion carried, 8 ayes and 0 nays and 1 abstain. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Matuszak, <br />Mclaughlin, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />Abstain: Councilperson Porter <br />died due to lack of a second. <br />
