• <br />Minutes, Regular Meeting, La Porte City Council <br />January 13, 1992, Page 5 <br />received. These items need to be re-established for the new <br />fiscal year, and will have no impact on the projected working <br />capital balances. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Gay to agurove amendment of <br />various operating budgets. Second by Councilperson Thrower. <br />The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor <br />Malone <br />Nays: None <br />The budgets to be amended are as follows: <br />General Fund - $73,392; Utility Fund - $6,198; Sylvan Beach <br />Fund - $1,680; Vehicle Replacement - $176,653; Vehicle <br />Maintenance - $1,456; Golf Course - $16,460. <br />17. Council considered awarding a contract to Follis Construction <br />for Main Street sidewalk repair and wheelchair ramps. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Gav to award the contract for <br />Main Street sidewalk repair and wheelchair ramps to Follis <br />Construction in the amount of $38,379.00. Second by <br />Councilperson Sutherland. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 <br />nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor <br />Malone <br />Nays: None <br />18. Consent Agenda - Council considered awarding bids as follows: <br />(A) Consider approving purchase of exercise equipment; (B) <br />Consider awarding a bid for a library roof; (C) Consider <br />awarding a bid for an ambulance; (D) Consider awarding a bid <br />for radios; (E) Consider awarding a bid for modular office <br />furniture. <br />Councilperson Cooper requested that items (C) and (E). After <br />discussion of these items, motion was made by Councilperson <br />Skelton to approve the consent agenda as presented. Second <br />by Councilperson Gay. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor <br />Malone <br />Nays: None <br />
