<br />Minutes, Regular Meeting, La Porte City Council <br />February 10, 1992, Page 5 <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Clarke to bring this item <br />back to the table. Second by Councilperson Cooper. The <br />motion carried, 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, <br />McLaughlin, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />An amended plan had been submitted and was reviewed by <br />Council. <br />Motion was made by Counciherson Clarke to__approve the Special <br />Conditional Use Permit as it was amended, which specifies <br />compliance with the provisions of Zoning Ordinance Section <br />6.600 B and allowing boat and R.V. storage only in the area <br />indicated on the applicant's amended site plan. Second by <br />Councilperson Gay. The motion carried, 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, <br />McLaughlin, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />17. Council considered waiving the bid process and award a bid for <br />tables to Bryan Equipment Company, as sole source vendor. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Gay to waive bid process and <br />award a bid for tables to Bryan Equipment Company, as sole <br />source vendor, in the amount of 56,080.00. Second by <br />Councilperson Thrower. The motion carried, 7 ayes and 1 nay. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Cooper, Thrower, McLaughlin, Gay, <br />Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: Councilperson Sutherland <br />18. Administrative reports <br />A. City Manager Bob Herrera reminded Council of the February <br />it public hearing regarding State Highway Department <br />improvements. This hearing will be held in our Council <br />Chambers, and Council and staff members are urged to <br />attend. <br />B. Director of Public Works Steve Gillett reported on <br />problems at Lift Station 30 and what will be done to <br />correct them. <br />
