<br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Minutes, Public Hearing and Regular Meeting <br />La Porte City Council <br />July 13, 1992, Page 3 <br /> <br />The City Attorney read: ORDINANCE 1501-0 - AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1501, THE CITY OF LA PORTE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE, ARTICLE III, SECTION 3-100; ARTICLE V, SECTION 5- <br />600, SECTION 5-800; ARTICLE VI; ARTICLE X, SECTION 10-609; <br />PROVIDING THAT ANY PERSON VIOLATING THE TERMS OF THIS <br />ORDINANCE SHALL BE DEEMED GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND SHALL <br />UPON CONVICTION BE FINED A SUM OF NOT MORE THAN ONE THOUSAND <br />DOLLARS ($1,000.00) FOR EACH VIOLATION; FINDING COMPLIANCE <br />WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; <br />AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Counciloerson Gay to adoot Ordinance 1501-0 <br />as read by the City Attorney. Second by Councilperson <br />Sutherland. Council considered an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1501, <br />by changing classification of that certain parcel of land <br />herein described. <br /> <br />The City Attorney read: ORDINANCE NO. 1501-P - AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1501, BY CHANGING CLASSIFICATION OF <br />THAT CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND HEREIN DESCRIBED; FINDING <br />COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; PROVIDING A <br />SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Counciloerson Cooper to deny Ordinance <br />1501-P. Second by Councilperson Thrower. The motion carried, 9 ayes <br />and 0 nays. <br />
