City Attorney read: RESOLUTION 99-20 - A RESOLUTION FOR THE CONSERVATION OF THE STATE'S SOIL, WATER AND RELATED RESOURCES. Council considered the approval of an Ordinance calling the regular annual and run-off election for the City of La Porte. City Attorney Knox Askins presented summary and recommendation. City Attorney read: ORDINANCE 99-2310 - CONSIDER APPROVAL OR OTHER ACTION REGARDING AN ORDINANCE CALLING THE REGULAR ANNUAL AND RUN-OFF ELECTION FOR THE CITY OF LA PORTE. Motion was made by Councilperson Engelken to approve the ordinance as presented by Mr. Askins. Second by Councilperson Ebow. The motion carried unanimously. Council considered the approval of an Ordinance approving and authorizing an agreement between the City of La Porte and Harris County to construct drainage improvements to Sunrise Drive.
