The draft Master Drainage Plan will be submitted to the City not later than 30 <br />days after [mal approval of Report #3 <br /> <br />SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />It is the intention of the City to retain an engineering firm with demonstrated abilities to <br />meet timelines, budgets and client expectations. The City is especially interested in firms <br />with previous experience in performing drainage master plans and watershed studies, as <br />well as design of drainage solutions. Listing of past projects should focus on those <br />performed in the last five- (5) years, with experience of key personnel tied to the listed <br />projects. Sub-consultants should be identified by speciality, with related experience and <br />qualifications. <br /> <br />The Statement of Qualifications and Experience should not exceed fifteen (15) pages. <br />Provide five (5) copies of the submittal. Supplemental discussion of the anticipated <br />scope of work and timeline should be submitted as a separate submission, not to exceed <br />fifteen (15) pages. The Statement of Qualifications and Experience and Supplemental <br />Discussion should be delivered no later than 5:00 PM on November 30,2007 and may be <br />delivered in person or by mail. Upon receipt of the Statements the City will proceed to <br />identify a top respondent. Depending on responses, the City may elect to interview one <br />or more firms. Relevant Consultant Experience - the Firm's experience with drainage master <br />plans, watershed studies, drainage design and the experience of proposed team <br />members with these plans and studies and design. <br />· Understanding of the Proposed Scope - the Firm's understanding of the issues <br />facing the city in regard to drainage management, and innovative approach to <br />solving these issues. <br />· Project Approach - specific project approach (work plan/schedule), quality <br />assurance processes and procedures and technical support capabilities. <br />· Current Capabilities - the Firm's capacity to respond (current workload and <br />availability) and the specific services provided by team members regularly <br />officing in facilities located within the greater Houston-Galveston area with the <br />ability to quickly respond to issues arising during the study. <br />· Quality and Responsiveness of the Submittal- the Firm's responsiveness to the <br />proposed scope of work, timeline and evaluation criteria. <br />
