<br />SECTION 3 <br />FAIRMONT PARK EAST COST ESTIMATE & CONCLUSION <br /> <br />All the alternatives investigated involve removing the existing 60-inch CMP outfall pipe <br />and replaced with a larger capacity reinforced concrete box (RCB) outfall, headwall, and <br />wing walls. Alternatives I, 2A, 3 and 4 propose an 8'x 6' RCB and Alternative 2B <br />proposes a 9'x 6' RCB to provide needed capacity. <br /> <br />Alternatives described in this report increase peak flows over existing conditions at the <br />outfall; therefore, HCFCD may require mitigation of these increases in peak flows <br />downstream that will have significant impacts to cost estimates. Construction estimates <br />described herein do not include mitigation options or costs. <br /> <br />3.1 Alternative 1 Add Parallel Trunk Line to Existing Storm Sewer with Pavement <br />Repair for One Travel Lane to Sycamore Dr. North <br /> <br />Alternative I is the addition of a parallel storm sewer trunk line under the northbound <br />travel lane of Fleetwood Drive and tied into the existing 60-inch RCP under the pavement <br />of Fleetwood Drive and Mesquite. A junction box will be needed for joining the existing <br />pipe with the proposed. The limits of the parallel trunk line are from the outfall to North <br />Sycamore and include connection of the 24-inch pipe between North of N.
