Cheryl Westmoreland - Sycamore St. - Ms. Westmoreland asked for additional time for the
Fairmont Homeowner's Association to have time to review the report.

Brian Moore - 511 S. Utah - Mr. Moore noted flooding at Utah and D has only been a problem in
the past two years. He noted he thinks the storm sewer may be stopped up and asked the City to
check it out.

4. Receive report from Klotz and Associates on Fairmont Park East and Brookglen Drainage Study.

Gary Struzick of Klotz and Associates provided the committee with an overview of the report
regarding Fairmont Park East and Brookglen Subdivision Drainage.

Mr. Struzick informed the committee they were recommending Alternative 3 as the best solution for
the Fairmont Park East Subdivision.

Mr. Struzick informed the committee that they recommend working with the Harris County Flood
Control to determine the best solution for the Brookglen area. Since this ditch does not belong to
the City, Harris County Flood Control should absorb the costs.

Committee Member Engelken noted concerns with additional study time and noted he would like
these issues to be resolved quickly. He further noted he felt we needed to contact Judge Emmitt
and Sylvia Garcia.

5. The committee had additional
questions for Mr. Gillett.

Chairman Mosteit requested staff bring forward the fill dirt ordinance for review to address
the runoff of silt from properties that were filled. Public Works Director Steve Gillett stated
this was going to be reviewed with the upcoming Storm Water Ordinance required by the
Phase 1/ permit through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).

John Randolph with Harris County Flood Control District advised the F101-06 project is
moving forward.
