Motion by Les Bird to recommend to City Council denial of Rezone Request #R08-004. Second by Nick Barrera. The motion carried. OPEN PUBLIC HEARING TO RECEIVE CITIZEN INPUT ON A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 106 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES BY AMENDING SECTION 106-835, PERTAINING TO OFF-STREET PARKING SPACE SIZES. Chairman Lawler opened the public hearing at 5:21 p.m. A. STAFF PRESENTATION Staff's Report was presented by Mr. Malik. Staff suggested that off-street parking requirements in place prior to the current provision of parking rules should be reinstated for future developments. Specifications are as follows: Angle of Parking Width Depth Width of Aisle 450 9 ft. 18 ft. 18 ft. 600 9 ft. 18 ft. 18 ft. 900 9 ft. 18 ft. 25 ft. B. PROPONENTS There were no proponents. C. CONSIDER RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL REGARDING A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 106 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES BY AMENDING SECTION 106-835, PERTAINING TO OFF-STREET PARKING SPACE SIZES. Motion by Nick Barrera to recommend to City Council to change the standard parking space size for 45 °, 60 °, and 90 ° parking from 10' to 9' wide and change the maneuvering aisle width for 90 0 parking from 28' to 25'. Second by Dottie Kaminski. The motion carried.
