Box 1115 <br />LA PORTE, TEXAS 77571 <br />SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR VARIANCE CITY ORDINANCE ON REQUIRED SETBACKS <br />GENTLEMEN: <br />THE PURPOSE OF THIS LETTER IS TO REQUEST APPROVAL TO <br />BUILD RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES ON SECTIONS 2 AND 3 OF LOT 6 TRACT <br />14 OF THE U.B. ROOT SUBDIVISION BETTER KNOWN AS SPENWICK <br />SUBDIVISION RECENTLY ANNEXED BY THE CITY. THIS IS AN IRREGULAR <br />SHAPED PIECE OF PROPERTY THAT WILL NOT PERMIT COMPLIANCE WITH <br />THE NORMAL MINIMUM REQUIRED SETBACK AS SET FORTH IN THE CXTY'S <br />ORDINANCES CONCERNING RESIDENTIALLY Z014ED REAL ESTATE. <br />CITY ORDINANCES INDICATE A MINIMUM SETBACK ON THE FRONT OF <br />THE STRUCTURE TO BE 25 FEET FROM THE STREET AND 18 FEET FROM THE <br />BACH OF THE PROPERTY. I AM REQUESTING A VARIANCE FROM THIS IN <br />ORDER TO ALLOW A 6 FOOT SETBACK FROM THE REAR OF THE STRUCTURE <br />TO THE BACK OF THE PROPERTY. <br />YOUR CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL_ OF THIS REQUEST WILL BE: <br />APPRECIATED. <br />SINCERELY, <br />RICHA L.
