Conduct signal warrant studies to determine if <br /> signals are warranted at the terminus of roads traversing and bounding <br />the Lomax Area and along Fairmont Parkway and Spencer Highway. <br />Access Management Studies. Conduct access management studies along <br />corridors of concern to identify and evaluate Transportation System <br /> <br />Management (TSM) measures to enhance the capacity of the existing <br />street system. <br />Strategic Corridors Program. Develop a strategic corridors program to <br /> direct aesthetic and infrastructure improvements for those corridors <br />identified on Map 2.2, Beautification Plan. <br />Complete Streets Policy. Adopt a Complete Streets policy and commit to <br /> <br /> <br />implemeting it during all new development/redevelopment projects. <br />Safe Sidewalks Program. Prepare a safe sidewalks program to identify <br /> <br />and correct unsafe and poorly maintained sidewalk segments at key <br />locations throughout the community. <br />Expand Mass Transit Availability. Coordinate with area partners to <br /> determine the feasibility of additional bus stops and routes to faciliate <br />increased ridership over time. <br />Improved Mass Transit Quality. Improve the quality of each dedicated bus <br /> stop located within the City (e.g., installation of all-weather shelters, <br />benches, ADA accessibility, online transit arrival information, etc.). <br />Summer Youth Pass Program. Coordinate with the Harris County Office of <br />Transit Services (and other partners) to implement a Summer Youth Pass <br /> <br /> <br />Program for high school-aged children to have unlimited access during the <br />summer. <br />Airport Master Plan.
