<br />inspection services and plans for enhancement/redevelopment of <br />public facilities servicing the community. Utilize these annual <br />inspections to set priorities for funding in the Capital Improve <br />Program. <br />GOAL 3: Provide for the long-term supply of water and reliable treatment <br />and distribution systems. <br /> <br />Actions and Initiatives <br />1)Plan accordingly to budget approximately $400,000 to $600,000 pe <br />to expand and/or upgrade , plus <br />additional funding as necessary to replace aging infrastructure . <br />2)In conformance with the schedule and specifications set forth in <br />Water Master Plan, construct the necessary water system improvem <br />as identified below: <br />a.2011: 12-inch water line on N. L. Avenue (Phase 1); <br />b.2012: 12-inch water line on N. L. Avenue (Phase 2); <br />c.2013: 12-inch water line on N. L. Avenue (Phase 3); <br />d.2014: 12-inch water line on Bandbridge Road, Somerton Drive, <br />Spencer Highway; and Venture Lane; <br />rd <br />e.2015: 8-inch water line on Airport Boulevard and on N. 3 Street.; <br />th <br />f.2016: 12-inch water line on N. 8 Street and W. Barbours Cut; and <br />g.2017: 12-inch water line on Lomax School Road. <br />3)In response to development proposals, coordinate with the privat <br />sector to ensure the construction of the following water system <br />infrastructure improvements as identified in the Water Master Pl <br />a.12-inch water line on N. Avenue P; and <br />b.12-inch water line on State Highway 225. <br />4)In conformance with the specifications set forth in the Water Ma <br />Plan, improve booster pump capacity at the following locations: <br />a.Phase III: Hillridge Water Plant prior to 15,584 water service <br />connections, estimated to occur around 2020; <br />th <br />b.Phase IV: Fairmont/4 Street Water Plant, prior to 16,958 water <br />service connections, estimated to occur around 2040; <br />c.Phase V: Broadway Water Plant, prior to 18,182 water service <br />connections, estimated to occur around 2040; and <br />d.Beyond 2040 through build-out: Bandridge Water Plant. <br />5)In conformance with the specifications set forth in the Water Ma <br />Plan, construct a new 700,000 gallon elevated storage tank prior <br />18,500 water service connections that are estimated to occur by the Year <br />2041. <br />6)Identify and eliminate any remaining dead-end water mains. <br />7)Periodically review the existing Surface Water Supply Contract t <br />that it will provide the necessary amount of water to supply <br />build-out development.
