• <br />• Section 4. Solicitation <br />Solicitation of funds or anything of value for any purpose <br />whatsoever shall not be permitted of or by City employees on duty. <br />No employee may be required to make any contribution nor may an <br />employee be penalized in any way in connection with his or her <br />employment according to his or her response to a solicitation. <br />Section 5. Physical Fitness <br />It shall be the responsibility of each employee to maintain <br />the standards of physical fitness required for performing his or <br />her duties. <br />Section 6. Personal Appearance <br />All employees, regardless of work location and degree of <br />public contact, are expected to dress appropriately and in good <br />taste and are expected to maintain a good general appearance at <br />all times. <br />Section 7. Financial Obligations <br />• All employees are required to keep their personal financial <br />affairs in good order. Failure to pay just debts, including <br />taxes, may constitute grounds for disciplinary action. <br />Section 8. Operation of City Owned Vehicles/Equipment <br />All employees are required to operate City owned vehicles/ <br />equipment in a safe and prudent manner in compliance with all <br />laws. Improper and/or unsafe operation of vehicles/equipment <br />is justification for disciplinary action. In addition, all <br />employees who have operating vehicles/equipment as a responsi- <br />bility of their position classification must have and maintain <br />an acceptable personal driving record. Uninsurability or ex- <br />clusion of an employee by the City's insurance carrier is justi- <br />fication for transfer, demotion and/or termination. <br />• <br />22 <br />
