THE STATE OF TEXAS <br />COUNTY OF HARRIS <br />THIS AGREZIENT is dated as of the 94( Ik day of May, 1994 by <br />and between the City of La Porte, a Municipal Corporation of Harris <br />County, Texas (hereinafter called OWNER) and Furlow Services, Inc., <br />a Texas Corporation (hereinafter called CONTRACTOR). <br />OWNER and CONTRACTOR, in consideration of the mutual covenants <br />herein set forth, agree as follows: <br />Article 1. WORK. <br />1.1 CONTRACTOR shall complete all work as specified in the <br />Contract Documents, which include: <br />a. this Agreement, (attached hereto as Exhibit "A"); <br />b. the plans (two (2) plan sheets and CLP Standard <br />Sanitary Sewer Details, all of which are attached <br />hereto as Exhibit "B"); <br />C. CLP Construction Specifications (attached hereto as <br />Exhibit "C"); and <br />d. the Contractor's Proposal dated May 16, 1994, <br />together with amendments thereto (attached hereto <br />as Exhibit "D"). <br />1.2 The Work (sometimes hereinafter referred to as the <br />"Project") is generally described as follows, to -wit: <br />a. Replacement of approximately 680 feet of six-inch <br />(6") sanitary sewer, along HCFCD Unit B106-02-00, <br />including concrete removal and replacement on <br />Farrington Blvd. <br />b. Repair and replacement of approximately 25 feet of <br />eight -inch (811) sanitary sewer line on Farrington <br />Blvd. at the conflict with the existing storm sewer <br />system, including any required concrete removal and <br />replacement on Farrington Blvd. <br />C. Removal and replacement of concrete pavement to <br />construction joints, according to City of La Porte <br />specifications, if ordered by OWNER. <br />1.3 No changes or additions to the Project shall be made <br />without OWNER first authorizing same in writing. <br />CONTRACTOR shall not be entitled to an increase in the <br />Contract Price unless an appropriate change order is <br />1 <br />
