first signed by OWNER authorizing said increase in the <br />Contract Price. <br />Article 2. TIME IB OF THE ESSENCE. <br />2.1 CONTRACTOR understands that the Project is work of an <br />emergency nature,.and CONTRACTOR further agrees that it <br />will faithfully prosecute the Work diligently to <br />completion. Time is of the essence in the completion of <br />the Project, and, as an inducement to OWNER, CONTRACTOR <br />represents and warrants that it is able to marshal all <br />manpower and assets necessary to commence work at the <br />site immediately upon approval of this Agreement. <br />Further, CONTRACTOR agrees to restore any concrete <br />pavement removed as a part of the Work, as soon as <br />practical, but in no event later than ten (10) days after <br />completion of the Work under the paved portions of <br />Farrington Blvd. <br />Article 3. CONTRACT PRICE. <br />3.1 OWNER shall pay CONTRACTOR for completion of the Work in <br />accordance with the Contract Documents an amount in <br />current funds equal to the amounts determined pursuant <br />to paragraphs 3.1 and 3.2 below: <br />a. for all Work described in Article 1.1, a lump sum <br />of: TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND AND N01100 DOLLARS <br />$27,000.00 <br />b. for all Work described in Article 1.2, a lump sum <br />of: FOUR THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND N0/100 DOLLARS <br />S 4,500.00 <br />C. Total of 3.1 and 3.2: THIRTY-ONE THOUSAND FIVE <br />HUNDRED AND N01100 DOLLARS <br />d. for all Work described in Article 1.3, a lump sum <br />of: ONE THOUSAND AND N01100 DOLLARS <br />e.
