<br />• <br />• <br />• <br />2.56 STREET, STUB: A public street not terminated by a per- <br />manent circular turnaround, ending adjacent to undeveloped <br />property or acreage and intended to be extended at such <br />time as the adjacent undeveloped property or acreage is <br />subdivided or developed. <br />2.57 STREET, THOROUGHFARE: A public street designed for heavy <br />traffic and intended to serve as a traffic artery of <br />considerable length and continuity throughout the com- <br />munity and so designated on the latest edition of the <br />City Thoroughfare Plan. <br />2.58 SUBDIVIDER: Any owner or authorized agent thereof, proposing <br />to divide, or dividing, land so as to constitute a sub- <br />division according to th e terms and provisions of this <br />Ordinance. A subdivider is further def fined to be a devel- <br />op er. <br />2.59 SUBDIVISION: A division of any tract of land into two (2) <br />or more parts for the purpose of laying out any subdivision <br />or any tract of land or any addition to the City, or fo r <br />laying out suburban lots or building lots, or any lots, <br />and streets, alleys or parts or other portions intended <br />for public use or the use of the purchasers or owners of <br />lots fronting thereon or adjacent thereto. A subdivision <br />includes re-subdivision (replat) but it does not includ e <br />the division of land for agricultural purposes in parcels <br />or tracts of five (5) acres or more and not involving <br />any new streets, alleys or easements of access. A sub- <br />division is further defined to be a development. <br />
